In Episode 9 of Literary Prospects, we talk with author Daniel Turtel about his debut novel, Greetings from Asbury Park.
Daniel grew up on the Jersey Shore. He graduated from Duke University in 2013 with a degree in mathematics and is currently pursuing an MFA at The New School. In 2020, his then unpublished novel, Greetings from Asbury Park was awarded the Faulkner Society’s Best Novel Award. The book was recently released by Blackstone Publishing. Daniel’s writing has appeared in The Baltimore Review and has won numerous awards. He now lives in New York City.
